A Color Renovation!!
Lat week, Stampin' Up! revealed some exciting changes to demonstrators. I wanted to share the news with you all right away. I can't wait to play with the new colors and am so excited about the returning colors which have many of my favorites I have missed. I am looking forward to showing you what I know will be beautiful, exciting new combos! Read on...
At Stampin’ Up!®, color is part of our identity. It’s fundamental to our ability to create and be creative. That also means that it’s important for us to be able to stay up-to-date with the trends in color to keep your artwork fresh and exciting.
At Stampin’ Up!®, color is part of our identity. It’s fundamental to our ability to create and be creative. That also means that it’s important for us to be able to stay up-to-date with the trends in color to keep your artwork fresh and exciting.
That’s why we’ve worked to present you with the Color Renovation—a refreshing, updated color palette! The new color collections combine current colors with 10 RETURNING IN COLORS (Baja Breeze, Melon Mambo, Pink Pirouette, Rich Razzleberry, Riding Hood Red, River Rock, Soft Suede, Tangerine Tango and Wild Wasabi) and 5 NEW COLORS (Marina Mist, Daffodil Delight, Cherry Cobbler, Cajun Craze and Early Espresso). Also, our current Kraft color will be renamed Crumb Cake and will have ink, markers and accessories to match.
These luscious collections give you new and vibrant choices, keeping your papercrafting passion original and exciting. Mix and match for your favorite combinations, and make the Color Renovation work for you! Our gorgeous new color collections will be available to everyone with the new Stampin' Up! catalog beginning July 1 .... if you are a DEMONSTRATOR you get to order them early! Not a demonstrator yet? FIND OUT MORE info about joining my team HERE! Click photo for larger image.
Now that you’ve seen the new color collections, you probably have a favorite color—or several—that you’re sad to see go. But look at the bright side, you have plenty of time to get all the ink and paper you think you’ll need before your favorite colors are gone. And I will be showing you lots of beautiful new samples with new color combos that I know you will love!
The chart below shows which colors we will bid a fond farewell to at the end of June 2010. Click photo for larger image.

Vintage Vogue Card & Basket for a friend
This is a card and basket that I made for a good friend to let her know I was thinking of her on a day that had some bad memories for her. I cased these from Lynn Put, check out hers here. Thanks for the inspiration Lynn!! I did forget the "lace" on the basket edge and I changed the sentiment on the card. Also the centers of my flowers are just brads, as I don't yet own the pretties kit. I hope to change that soon though!! These use the Vintage Vogue and Tiny Tags stamp sets, Rich Razzleberry, So Saffron and Old Olive are the colors used. Please let me know if you have any questions!!

Build-A-Bear Girl & Boy
This is a girl and boy Build-A-Bear that my daughter and I made with the Stampin' Up! Sizzix Build-A-Bear dies. They were fun to choose colors, etc. I still need to make them into cards or something.
