Fab Friday 135 - Birthday Wishes for You

Hi!!

It's time for the 135th Fab Friday challenge.

This one is a layout, and it didn't take long for me to come up with something.  I finally inked up the Birthday Wishes for You stamp set. I used markers to color in the letters: Berry Burst, Peekaboo Peach, Lemon Lime Twist, Pool Party and Bermuda Bay. The paper comes from the Picture Perfect Party pack and is trimmed with a couple small strips of the Myths and magic Glimmer paper (I'm hoarding the rest of that!!).  The card base is Pool Party. The sentiment is backed with Basic Black card stock. I finished it off with some Basic Black Twine. I used black ink, but forgot it on the supply list below.

Here it is:

Fab Friday 134 - Celebrate You

Hi!!

Here is the 134th Fab Friday challenge.

I love this color combo, it's so Springy!!  And I'm so ready for Spring to arrive and stay here in Iowa!!  32*F and raining is not Spring!!

Anyway, back to the card - I fell in love with this card by Alison Okamitsu, so I cased it. I started with a Soft Sky card base and added a strip of Night of Navy washi tape from the Basics Pack 3. On my Whisper White card stock, I stamped the flower from Amazing You stamp set using markers in Blushing Bride, Pear Pizzazz and So Saffron. I then used an Aqua Painter to color in the flowers using the Powder Pink ink pad. I then die cut the YOU (from the Celebrate You thinlit dies) out (save the center for the O!!). Then I stamped the celebrate in Night of Navy ink. I popped up the white panel using Foam Adhesive Strips. And the center of the O is on a mini dimensional (they are soooo cute!!!).

Fab Friday 133 - Picture Perfect Birthday

Hi!!

Here is the 133rd Fab Friday challenge.

I didn't use the exact shapes in the sketch, but it's close. The Daylight Savings Time change last weekend has me really messed up this week. I went with something pretty quick here, at least for my card. I already had the background piece completed, so I just added the twine, sentiment circle and blowout toy. The background is Melon Mambo ink applied to Shimmery White cardstock with an Aquapainter. When that was dry I embossed it with Polka Dot Basics embossing folder and added the black splotches with a stamp from Timeless Textures. The washi tape is from the Pick a Pattern set. This was all layered onto the Bermuda Bay card base (5.5" x 8.5", folded in half)

Fab Friday 132 - With Sympathy

Hi!!

Here is the 132nd Fab Friday challenge.

Unfortunately, I needed a Sympathy card.  I went to the pretty Petal Garden Designer Series Paper Stack and found a sheet that had 3 of the 4 colors for this challenge in it. The paper is so pretty I only added a sentiment using Soft Suede ink and Pool Party twine.
